2026 System Wide Chlorine Burn

July 27, 2026

Starting July 31st, RAWS will be undergoing a system wide, TCEQ approved "Chlorine Burn" or "Chlorine Conversion". This is standard and similar to all of the burns or conversions completed in the years past. This will last through August 27th. During this time, you will notice an increased smell and possible taste of Chlorine in your RAWS water. This is completely normal and safe for regular consumption. Should you have any questions or concerns, please call the office.
